In Arizona we are deprived of life with four seasons. We experience: mildly warm, hot, hotter, and on fire. That being said, we are slowly approaching mildly warm, which I consider Sweater Weather. Since this past summer seemed especially grueling and long I started collecting sweaters early to give me hope hot cappuccinos and cool walks with the family were around the corner.
New York & Co. has the most amazing selection this year. I found not just one or two, but maybe 10 sweaters that needed a home in my closet. I’m featuring a few of my favorites here. I love clothing with movement, which means fringe everything. This white fringe sweater and matching white fringe sweater skirt is probably one of the most comfy sets I’ve ever worn that’s so chic at the same time. I paired it with booties, but just imagine it with some great heels. Get festive with your shoe choice. I would even wear some red pumps with this set around the holidays.
I added a wide reversible obi belt to fancy things up and tie in my black booties. Snatch up this great New York & Co. find. It can help add shape to otherwise lifeless boxy silhouettes and add drama to monotone looks. You’ll see it pop up in other posts in the future.
This whole look is incredibly reasonable, modern, and comfy = Winnnnerrr 😉
The other fringe sweater worth a spot in your closet is the Annie Sweater, which has a shorter fringe across the chest and sleeves, and is in a really gorgeous refined blush color (also comes in black) that’s so in this year. It will look great paired with your favorite jeans and a hat.
