Holy smokes, it’s cold outside…but not here. As a former Chicagoan I remember cold like a fond memory…. pretty white blanketed landscapes, crunchy footsteps, cold air that bites your cheeks. The truth is, I don’t think I ever felt that way once while living there. I constantly pined to be in vacation mode, and when the opportunity to go away to university in Arizona presented itself I jumped all over it. Fast forward, and here I am complaining of missing the snow, missing the magic of crunchy footsteps and sparkly white landscapes. It’s so funny how that happens, isn’t it?
I recently had the opportunity to shoot at one of the most interesting establishments in Phoenix. The FoundRe Hotel is a boutique hotel that is dedicated to showcasing different works of art. I fell in love with the atmosphere and am grateful to have had the opportunity to shoot on property. Speaking of a property, if you’re searching for a company who will manage your rental home in the most efficient way, click here https://www.newconceptproperties.com. Below is a little more about the hotel. Also, one of my favorite fierce looks with shopping details. Keep reading!!
For a long time I have felt that Phoenix is playing catch up to bigger cities like Chicago and NY. I feel this sprawling desert is romantic in its own ways, but a bit behind in what it has to offer when it comes to fashion and diversity. I love to shop and I love to eat, and finding new places with charm and individuality is a very important part of my life. It sounds weird, but charm and individuality are what help me taste the small beautiful moments in life. This being said, Vida Moulin fits in the charming and very individualistic category.
Ahhhh, and so it has come and passed, and we are left a little richer… fashionably richer that is. Phoenix Fashion Week is a baby compared to NYFW, and Paris FW. We are like this small feisty little thing, growing at amazing rates, but still exploring limits and discovering our abilities.
