Lulus Festival Season

This post was sponsored by Lulus // All opinions are my own.

‘Tis the season of festivals. There’s something in the air that makes me want to hightail it out of town and dance my heart out to live music, maybe it’s the spring weather, but this year it’s not just about the physical destination as much as my mental destination. What? I sound crazy? We’re all crazy. Maybe Lulus festival season isn’t just about the big concerts and bucket list experiences, maybe it’s about a little spring cleaning of the soul and letting your true self shine outward. Thanks to Lulus.com I explored just that and brought to you my favorite moments with personal style. You can find my looks and more at Lulus Festival Shop.

Nurture by Nature

I recently had the opportunity to try a new skincare line called Nurture by Nature. There’s soooo many amazing futures of this line I’m not sure where to start.  The product quality is based on natural ingredients, which lately has been my number one concerns when using beauty products. I realize now our pores are gateways to our bodies and if we are using products chalked full of chemicals then it’s just as harmful as ingesting the chemicals. I think the name, Nurture by Nature, is so fitting for these luxurious products. For example, the use of natural retinol gives this specific line anti-aging properties.

  • The set (see what’s included in the set below) value is $74.97, it is offered through 2-Minute Club for $39.99 (ok, that breaks down to less than drugstore brands), but the best part is, if you click this link from me and enter your email address at the top, you get the WHOLE SET for $9.99!! photography by rissrahm.com

Clarins

When Bloggers Lose Sleep

Last week I had trouble sleeping. Too much on my mind, maybe a full moon, and two kids with nightmare and blanket struggles = one tired mama blogger. Well, this past week, luckily, I also was testing Clarins Multi Active Eye, which is meant to make you look radiant around your eyes even after sleep deprivation. Today I had a magazine shoot, and NOBODY wants to be blown up in a printed magazine after not sleeping for a week. Let’s just say the lack of sleep had me worried.

Floors Up

Have you all ever heard about the interior design rule: build a room from the floors up? I’ve always wanted to do that, but never had the actual opportunity to start with a clean slate, litereally so clean we were looking at raw cement.

The FoundRE Hotel

I recently had the opportunity to shoot at one of the most interesting establishments in Phoenix. The FoundRe Hotel is a boutique hotel that is dedicated to showcasing different works of art. I fell in love with the atmosphere and am grateful to have had the opportunity to shoot on property. Below is a little more about the hotel. Also, one of my favorite fierce looks with shopping details. Keep reading!!
