Lulus Style Society

This past weekend I flew into L.A. for less than two days with the lovely Marissa Shaw  (photographer who is behind the camera for most of We The Classy content). On Saturday we attended Lulus Style Society  #LulusStyleSociety! It was a posh event located at the Hills Penthouse in West Hollywood. We were treated like queens, blogger-queens. First we hit up the braid bar, as you can see in my pictures! I had dutch braids done because, well, those are my fave and my hair length doesn’t really lend to long mermaid braids. We had delish frozen *double* rosés because the bartenders were quite generous. The terrace did not disappoint with a view overlooking the city of LA. Everywhere we looked we spotted beautiful bloggers dressed head to toe in pretty Lulu’s curated frocks, and fresh pink and white florals.

I especially had fun in the Lulus Style Studio where I was able to exclusively shop some of Lulu’s new arrivals, delivered to me in a sleek personalized bag. Every detail of their event was eye candy and we were grateful to take part in the deliciousness!!

Enjoy these shots from the event giving a little inside look of the exclusive Lulu’s Style Society.

Ice Art

My blog is mostly about fashion, but these long summer days with the kiddos are making us all antsy and I’ve been focusing on doing some new projects with them. I searched for some kid-friendly artsy science projects (that would be fun for me too) and landed on this great idea for ice art. It’s 110 degrees outside here so anything with ice is a great idea! –>

Gingham & Stripes

I’m currently seeing stars and stripes everywhere, yay USA, but here’s a couple looks I put together for NYDJ using gingham and stripes. Both looks are a little modern, a little sweet, and very hot weather friendly. Each top is cool and breezy. The denim has special moisture wicking technology that a lot of athletic lines use, so they are extra comfy on those hot days. Read more about the incredible Cool Embrace by NYDJ here.

Banana Republic Summer

Banana Republic summer styles are in and I’m here to tell you they nailed the sophisticated cool girl trends. I’ve always been a fan of Banana for their quality basics, and stylish classics. Below I’m sharing a few of my favorite summer pieces, and also one of my favorite looks created with their newest denim addition, the straight leg, high waisted cut off crops that say, “I’m a cool girl.” BEST PART: Banana Republic is running a 40% -50% off your select items sale RIGHT NOW.

Here’s some of my favorites picks from the New Arrivals:

Clarins Lip Oils

I’m not blessed with lush lips. Don’t get me wrong, my lips are good, they work, but I think both of my lips barely equal the volume of Kylie Kardashian’s upper lip. There are so many cool techniques out there to make your lips bigger. I’ve considered a few, but then the thought of sucking my lips off my face until they’re swollen scares me. What scares me more is what my lips will look like after doing that to my face for a few years, like… won’t they start to sag?? Just saying, we should all be little nicer to our faces, which brings me to Carins Lip Oils. This is a lip conditioning I can get on board with. No, you won’t look like you got punched the mouth, but I’m pretty impressed with the results. Clarnins Lip Oils actually help your lips instead of hurting them.
