What are your favorite scent notes? Sandalwood? Vanilla? Lime? … I’ve always been more of a warm and spicy kind of girl. I started wearing Angel by Mugler nearly 8 years ago. It’s a scent I mostly wear in the winter because it makes me feel cozy, and sexy. “ANGEL Etoile des Rêves is a nighttime reinterpretation of ANGEL, MUGLER’s iconic and bewitching fragrance.”
New York, aka the concrete jungle, is filled with personalities. Personalities in people, places, fashion, and food. There’s so much to take in and explore. That’s why I’m starting with this post about my trip.
I’m starting with places Marissa Rahm and I explored in the magical Big Apple. We ate and walked our hearts out. This is mostly a post comprised of my Embroidered Vici dress, and snapshots from our adventures. Essentially, I’m sharing with you my personal behind the scenes travel shots.

This past weekend I flew into L.A. for less than two days with the lovely Marissa Shaw (photographer who is behind the camera for most of We The Classy content). On Saturday we attended Lulus Style Society #LulusStyleSociety! It was a posh event located at the Hills Penthouse in West Hollywood. We were treated like queens, blogger-queens. First we hit up the braid bar, as you can see in my pictures! I had dutch braids done because, well, those are my fave and my hair length doesn’t really lend to long mermaid braids. We had delish frozen *double* rosés because the bartenders were quite generous. The terrace did not disappoint with a view overlooking the city of LA. Everywhere we looked we spotted beautiful bloggers dressed head to toe in pretty Lulu’s curated frocks, and fresh pink and white florals.
I especially had fun in the Lulus Style Studio where I was able to exclusively shop some of Lulu’s new arrivals, delivered to me in a sleek personalized bag. Every detail of their event was eye candy and we were grateful to take part in the deliciousness!!
Enjoy these shots from the event giving a little inside look of the exclusive Lulu’s Style Society.

My blog is mostly about fashion, but these long summer days with the kiddos are making us all antsy and I’ve been focusing on doing some new projects with them. I searched for some kid-friendly artsy science projects (that would be fun for me too) and landed on this great idea for ice art. It’s 110 degrees outside here so anything with ice is a great idea! –>
I’m currently seeing stars and stripes everywhere, yay USA, but here’s a couple looks I put together for NYDJ using gingham and stripes. Both looks are a little modern, a little sweet, and very hot weather friendly. Each top is cool and breezy. The denim has special moisture wicking technology that a lot of athletic lines use, so they are extra comfy on those hot days. Read more about the incredible Cool Embrace by NYDJ here.
