Here’s We The Classy Weekly, week two!!
I like to bring you to one spot for all of last weeks instagram posts so it’s easy to find links and info. Feel free to leave a comment with any questions.
Hope you all have an amazing week!
Hey there February, you just came out of nowhere! Can you believe we are heading into Valentines day? It is one of my most favorite times of year. How can you not love love? How can you not love flowers, hearts, candy, and wine?! Speaking of which, I think I’m going to style my husband’s bar as a Valentine’s Day gift to him, and I’m starting with Vinotive.
A couple years back, my husband stumbled on some really high quality wine at an estate sale and decided to resell it. It became a side business and hobby for him. As a result, we ourselves ended up with quite the collection. Much of our wine cannot just be screwed open and enjoyed instantly. It needs to be treated well, aerated, and often decanted.
Like I mentioned in my previous post, we tend to think the grass is literally greener on the other side and not be thankful for the amazing things our town has to offer. Lately, I’ve been trying to find fun restaurants and new things to do in Scottsdale. One of my favorite recent discoveries is the art installation over the Scottsdale canal near Old Town Scottsdale.
Holy smokes, it’s cold outside…but not here. As a former Chicagoan I remember cold like a fond memory…. pretty white blanketed landscapes, crunchy footsteps, cold air that bites your cheeks. The truth is, I don’t think I ever felt that way once while living there. I constantly pined to be in vacation mode, and when the opportunity to go away to university in Arizona presented itself I jumped all over it. Fast forward, and here I am complaining of missing the snow, missing the magic of crunchy footsteps and sparkly white landscapes. It’s so funny how that happens, isn’t it?
I don’t know if y’all noticed, but Amazon Prime has been thinking up new ways to make sure its members feel like they get their money’s worth. If I’m being honest, I buy something and get it within two days with Prime shipping almost once a day (and you know you do, too!) From my toothpaste to holiday shopping, I do it all on Amazon. And thanks to my Prime membership, I was able to watch “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” 12 days earlier then the public!
