Holy smokes, it’s cold outside…but not here. As a former Chicagoan I remember cold like a fond memory…. pretty white blanketed landscapes, crunchy footsteps, cold air that bites your cheeks. The truth is, I don’t think I ever felt that way once while living there. I constantly pined to be in vacation mode, and when the opportunity to go away to university in Arizona presented itself I jumped all over it. Fast forward, and here I am complaining of missing the snow, missing the magic of crunchy footsteps and sparkly white landscapes. It’s so funny how that happens, isn’t it?
I’m so excited to share my Italist review with you! I adore beautiful fashion, especially the luxury kind, but I also think it’s super important to find the best pricing on the items I’m lusting over before I go ahead and bite the bullet. Enter, Italist.com! Here’s what makes them one of kind and what I found while doing an Italist review:
The Discounts – Italist.com provides a huge selection of highly sought after, highly luxury, highly fashionable pieces at 30% off on average! When is the last time you found your favorite bag and then could get it approximately 30% off! I alway head to Italist.com to find great note worthy pieces. As a fashion blogger it’s a resource for keeping up my A game.
Fast Shipping! – This is a really big deal to me, especially when I’m shopping for an event. I hate not knowing if a dress or outfit is going to arrive in time. No worries with Italist.
The Choices – In my review of Italist.com I have discovered they have over 800 luxury labels. I have found they provide a larger list of designers than any other site I use to shop. Here’s a couple of my favorites:
Aquazzura (I’m in love with their heels and and the Italist prices)
Fendi (Check out the cute bag selection)
Prada (A classic)
Self-Portrait (one of my favorite dress designers)
CHLOÉ (There’s a pair of high waist Chloe jeans I have my eye on!)
I often visit Italist.com looking for my key splurge-worthy items. How do you determine what a splurge worthy item is? For me, they have to be items I wear on repeat easily, or they have to be items that can be passed on to my daughter. On that list are: denim, sneakers, jewelry, purses, and an occasional fancy dress. What I really want to focus on in my Italist.com review is the chicest splurge worthy sneakers out there!
What are your favorite scent notes? Sandalwood? Vanilla? Lime? … I’ve always been more of a warm and spicy kind of girl. I started wearing Angel by Mugler nearly 8 years ago. It’s a scent I mostly wear in the winter because it makes me feel cozy, and sexy. “ANGEL Etoile des Rêves is a nighttime reinterpretation of ANGEL, MUGLER’s iconic and bewitching fragrance.”
A while back I asked my husband what decade he’d be from if he wasn’t alive now at this moment. He said the 50’s, which I’m glad wasn’t true for him because I’m certain I would be trying to change the world in the 70’s. Needless to say, I’m happy we’re here together in 2017, but I’ve always loved a great pair of cord bell bottoms and successfully purchased a few in vintage shops downtown Chicago in high school. When I saw this ridiculously cute and vintage inspired Free People rust cord Pinafore from Lulus I was instantly in LOVE! The kind of love only a soul from the 70’s would understand 😉
I started this blog post with the intent to solely share about my experience with TruFusion in Las Vegas recently, but feel that I need to take this opportunity to share a little more about myself.
We live in a society that is super confused about health. Who is healthy.. what is healthy.. what are you doing to be healthy… what does healthy look like??? and on, and on, and on. I personally think it’s become an obsession, not in a healthy way. It’s easy to judge others based on how they look. I’m extremely sensitive to judgments based on looks because I’m a walking example of how judging people based on appearance is where our society is confused.
