River Island

Arizona temps are rising! I’m officially in summer mode meaning: pools, resorts, and staying cool! I had fun styling three summer looks from River Island. I included the shapable links below. I loved these looks because I went for an elevated casual look, which is perfect for summer vacations. Elevated casual means you can go from the pool to dinner and still feel chic! I loved spending a day at the beautiful Fairmont Princess in Scottsdale, Arizona. It’s one of my favorite resorts and the perfect spot to photograph resort wear for the summer! A special thanks to them for having us there to enjoy the resort! I got yo go fishing which I had never done, my husband got the saltwater spinning reels for us, we had so much fun!!

Bring on the summer!

First Look – Pool Soiree

I loved this because I felt elegant and beautiful, which is a rarity when running around the pool. The colors are so pretty, marigold is such a happy color. The white paper bag waist pants are classics!

Second Look – Denim on Denim

This is my version of the Canadian Tuxedo. A button down won’t do it for me, but this adorable frayed sleeve crop works perfect with any other denim and either sneakers or flat sandals. It’s perfect for the warm days ahead, memorial day, and the Forth of July!

Third Look – BBQs and Festivals

I love the midi length of this skirt and the pop of green, it’s the perfect mix of retro and modern. I find myself at a lot of bbqs and evening festivals during the summer. This look is perfect for that with a casual bottom, block heels (that are perfect for the grass) and a spicy off the shoulder top. I wore this top tucked into jean shorts and full length skinnies also! It’s a current closet favorite!
